Alex began entertaining as a solo acoustic act while living in Spain. His ever-growing songbook boasts 1200+ covers spanning every genre, and incorporating a dynamic range of popular artists including Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake, to Luke Bryan and Eric Church, and from Etta James and Ray Charles, to Alicia Keys and Frank Sinatra.
The Alex Ruwe Band
Alex began leading bands as the frontman at the age of 14. Over the last 15 years, he has led numerous bands throughout the Midwest. The Alex Ruwe Band is available as a 4-piece combo, or can extend to include a 3-piece horn section. Their dynamic repertoire is perfect for corporate functions, galas, weddings or your favorite party spot!
DJ
Alex has been throwing dance parties since grade school, making homemade playlists for his classmates to party to at dances. His eclectic taste in music and commitments to surprise listeners and keep people dancing has earned him a reputation that proceeds him throughout St Louis's premier venues and night clubs.
